Born in Pula in 1972, Boris realized early on that life's true values aren't learned within four walls. He is the founder of his country’s first survival school, its first adventure club, and pioneering outdoor programs dedicated to children and youth. His mission was never about theory, but about living emotionally and instinctively. For thirty years, he shaped generations in the open—without posters on the wall, without superficial glamor, and without any need for fame.
As a licensed master survival instructor certified by Italian national federations (FISSS and AICS) and honored Honoris Causa by the Survival Instructors World Alliance (SIWA), he quickly expanded his grounds far beyond ordinary borders: from survival and guiding along the rugged ridges of the European Alps, across isolated routes through Iceland’s volcanic wastelands and black sands, to organizing expeditions from the scorching sands of the Sahara to the Himalayan range—always without complicated plans, but guided by unwavering instinct.
Tied to Italy and Rome for years, Boris’s work went far beyond the mountains. Operating behind the scenes, he coordinated field humanitarian operations, protected vulnerable people and wildlife, and provided shelter to those in greatest need. He led complex, confidential projects for the Italian state, always driven by the conviction that in moments of crisis, one human must be an anchor for another.
When an injury threatened to halt his field work, Boris did what he has done his whole life: survived and struck back. Out of defiance against a body that demanded rest, he wrote his first three books in just three months.
His stories are not armchair fantasies. They are the distillate of thirty years of swallowing dust, cold, sweat, and adrenaline. Literature for all who understand that this life is one great adventure worth living to the absolute fullest.
